At the midway point of the 2020-2030 decade for decisive climate action, and echoing the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, ChangeNOW 2025 gathers 1,000 groundbreaking solutions and visionary leaders in a spectacular showcase to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable world.

Climate change presents significant challenges to mobility. To meet the goals of the European Green Deal, Europe will require €1.5 trillion in investments in sustainable mobility by 2050. According to the EIT Urban Mobility report “Costs & Benefits of the Urban Mobility Transition,” public transport is the most cost-effective method of decreasing urban emissions.
This panel will discuss how innovations in public transport can help achieve the EU’s target of reducing emissions by 55% by 2030.
