As cities face growing pressure to deliver safer, cleaner and more inclusive mobility systems, Women Changing Cities offers an important perspective. At this book launch, author Melissa Bruntlett will share insights from her latest work, co-authored with Chris Bruntlett, and reveal how female leaders around the world are driving change in transport and urban development.
Against the backdrop of climate change, congestion, safety challenges and inequality, the book highlights practical, people-centred strategies championed by female mayors, planners and policymakers. Drawing on case studies from places such as Paris, Bogotá, Manila and Montreal, it shows how inclusive approaches to mobility and public space can create cities that are safer, more sustainable and better for everyone.
Drinks and networking follow the session. Get the opportunity to connect with peers across the mobility and urban development community.
