EIT Urban Mobility is pleased to invite Public Transport Operators (PTOs), Public Transport Authorities (PTAs), and other relevant stakeholders to a dedicated site visit at Barcelona TRAM depots, one of Barcelona’s main public transport operators (tramway) and a host operator during Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress.
A visit that will provide visibility towards other PTOs and PTAs, reinforcing the value of partnership and engagement within EIT Urban Mobility.
The visit would provide the opportunity to:
- Know on-site TRAMS operations and approach to innovation first-hand from TRAM Head of Research
- Learn from innovative projects that have a high impact on public transportation.
- Exchange experience and create a stronger network among the PTOS/PTAS and relevant stakeholders of our community.
Organised on the day before the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress, the site visit offers an additional opportunity for those arriving early in Barcelona. It provides a structured and meaningful activity that complements the Congress programme, while also supporting the justification of travel for participants.

The event will take place at TRAM premises: Cotxeres TramBaix – Av. de Barcelona, s/n, 08970 Sant Joan Despí, Barcelona.
Transfer will be provided from Fira de Barcelona (TMWC venue) and Plaça Catalunya.
