Master School and Fellowship Open Call 2027

27 May 2026

EIT Urban Mobility invites universities, academic consortia, and education-focused innovators to submit proposals to its Master School and Fellowship Open Call 2027, designed to accelerate the development and delivery of high-quality learning experiences that build the skills and capabilities needed for sustainable urban mobility.

This Call focuses on a series of specific activity areas aimed at meeting the objectives of the EIT Urban Mobility Master School and the EIT Urban Mobility Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) Fellowship. The Call supports proposals that contribute to closing the knowledge gap within urban mobility by offering high-quality, challenge-based, intersectoral, and international education.

We are seeking proposals that align with the key objectives of the Master School and I&E Fellowship, including fostering innovation and entrepreneurship skills, increasing student and graduate volumes, strengthening links to industry and cities, and supporting startup creation through EIT-labelled programmes.

Proposals for the Master School and Fellowship Open Call 2027 may be submitted by individual applicants or consortia, depending on the requirements for each activity type, as detailed in the Call Manual.

The following five types of activities are eligible under this Call:

MSA1: Summer schools for Master students

MSA2: New EIT Urban Mobility Master programmes

MSA3: New universities joining the existing EIT Urban Mobility Master School programmes

MSA4: I&E Master programmes that join the EIT Urban Mobility I&E Fellowship

MSA5: Other educational activities contributing to KPI EITHE05.1 (startups created by students and graduates from EIT Labelled programmes)

This Call supports activities that demonstrate clear alignment with the strategic objectives of EIT Urban Mobility’s education and training portfolio, ensure compliance with the EIT Label requirements and show strong potential for long-term impact, scalability, and financial sustainability.
