How to get involved?

To benefit from our services and activities you need to become a partner of EIT Urban Mobility. You can choose your partnership category depending on your needs, interests in the activities and services included. Applicable to industry, universities and research centres

Affiliate entities

Gold partners can add up to 3 affiliate entities, excluding Associations and Cluster organizations. Affiliated entities are entities with a legal link to the beneficiaries which implement parts of the action and are allowed to charge costs directly to the grant. They do not become party to the Grant Agreement (do not sign the GA) but they are part of the consortium and often play an important role. 

 

Special Interest Group (SIG)

The Special Interest Group (SIG) is aimed to be a strategic group of relevant actors coming from industry, university and cities that together identify solutions, co-create and influence for the complex urban mobility challenges

  • Participation as a member of Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
  • Panel discussion in major events
  • Invitation right to other member

 

Project development – ideation and matchmaking

EIT Urban Mobility will support and facilitate partners in the development of ideas, matchmaking and proposal preparation for the annual calls.

  • Lead proposals
  • Priority access to discuss with cities over cities’ needs
  • Unlimited access to ideation hubs meetings
  • Unlimited access to matchmaking cross-hub meetings
  • Follow up one-to-one
  • Financial Sustainability Mechanism (FSM) pre-reviews
  • Specific matchmaking
  • Access to pitch in public events
  • Access to City Club / Living Labs
  • 3 proposal for project clinic

Non-EIT funding – Action Impact Groups (AIGs)

EIT Urban Mobility has to be able to bring in non-EIT Financed Activities (NEFA) all allow our community to work across all TRL levels, address policy, regulation, research, and address non-FSM topics. The AIG tracks and targets funds to allow our partners to more effectively fund wider value actions using other funds to broaden our societal impact. More information on AIGs here.

  • Identification of funding opportunities
  • Introduction to partners/forming consortia, follow up proposal progress
  • Priority invitation to AIG events; 
  • Outreach/showcasing for innovations
  • AIG call review and final selection forecast
  • Request for additional funding calls to be added
  • 50% fees discount on opt-in services such as writing support, proof reading, etc.

Marketplace – Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress

Join our annual flagship event on urban mobility innovation in Barcelona and other relevant European events. We offer our partners exclusive advantages to participate and connect with world leading innovators and cities, in connection with the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress.

  • Partner networking event
  • Exhibition space discount
  • Eligible for Conference sessions / Agora
  • 10 exhibition passes, 1 free conference ticket, 50% discount on additional tickets
  • Project content in digital platform

 

Academy

Our Academy is a collaborative arena for lifelong learning, helping to build critical capabilities for innovation and transformation.

  • Run funded EIT Urban Mobility double degree Master programmes
  • Access to talent pool for internships, theses work and young professional positions
  • Have own (home university) PhDs to join the Doctoral Training Network and get free training (30ECTS) and a 4 months placement

Access to all courses with special promotion and discounts on a course-by course basis
