The Transport Innovation Forum 2026, organised by the Transport Innovation Association, will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators and representatives from international organisations to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of transport, logistics, and mobility.
The eighth edition of the Forum takes place on 14 and 15 October 2026 at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO in Vilnius, Lithuania.
This year’s theme, “Adapt to the Never Normal,” reflects the reality facing today’s transport and logistics sector, with geopolitical uncertainty, economic volatility, rising operational costs, the transition to alternative energy sources and rapid digital transformation driving constant change.
More than 800 participants from over 20 countries are expected to gather in Vilnius to exchange insights, build partnerships and explore solutions that can strengthen resilience and accelerate innovation across the transport and logistics ecosystem.
Through keynote presentations, panel discussions and expert debates, the Forum will explore:
- Business environment and geopolitical change
- Breakthrough technologies in transport
- Digitalisation and artificial intelligence
- Sustainable transport development
- Urban mobility and innovation
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with industry peers, attend the Startup Pitch Session and National Transport Innovation Awards ceremony, and explore an exhibition featuring more than 20 companies and organisations showcasing the latest innovations and solutions.
Speakers
The Forum will bring together high-level representatives from government, industry, and international organisations. The opening ceremony will feature Mindaugas Sinkevičius, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania; Lukas Paškevičius, Vice-Minister of Transport and Communications; and Rugilė Andziukevičiūtė-Buzė, CEO of the Transport Innovation Association.
The programme will also feature keynote contributions from Tatiana Molcean of UNECE, Ihor Reva, Deputy Minister of Reconstruction, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine, and Lukas Savickas, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania.
EIT Urban Mobility at Transport Innovation Forum 2026
EIT Urban Mobility will be represented at the Transport Innovation Forum 2026, contributing to discussions on how data, AI, and innovation can shape the future of urban mobility.
On 15 October, Willem-Frederik Metzelaar, Regional Director at EIT Urban Mobility, will give a keynote on “How data & AI will power the future of urban mobility.” Lucie Kirstein, Strategy Lead Data & AI at EIT Urban Mobility, will then join a panel discussion exploring the role of data and AI in the future of urban mobility.
