By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support for strengthening its online presence, expand its digital reach and increase engagement with key audiences by appointing a social media Agency (hereinafter being referred to as “the Contractor” or “Tenderer”). This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of external communications.
The scope of collaboration includes:
EIT UM currently maintains a robust presence on five major social media platforms, ranked by follower count: LinkedIn (EIT Urban Mobility, +53,000), X (@EITUrbanMob, +5,380), Instagram (@EITUrbanMob, +4,300), Facebook (EIT Urban Mobility, +2,600), and most recently, BlueSky (+170). Additionally, the LinkedIn account of the CEO, Marc Rozendal, is managed by the external communications team, and Directors of the different departments and Hubs are encouraged to actively use their personal channels. The agency may be requested to support or guide content and strategy development for these personal accounts as part of EIT UM’s broader visibility efforts.
The overall social media communication objectives of EIT Urban Mobility are:
(i) Raising awareness of the need for more sustainable, inclusive, and innovative urban mobility in Europe.
(ii) Positioning EIT Urban Mobility as thought leader in the acceleration of the sustainable urban mobility transition.
(iii) Generate strategic visibility and leads among targeted stakeholders, particularly those in the European institutional ecosystem.
