Event details

Low emission zones are becoming an increasingly important tool for implementing urban policy, helping to reduce transport pollution, improve air quality and create a healthier and more attractive living environment. However, how can these zones be used not only as a restrictive measure, but also as an opportunity to create added value for business and local residents?

On February 27, EIT Urban Mobility Lithuania Representative (TIA) invites representatives of municipal administrations to an event dedicated to discussing experiences, good practices and ideas in implementing low emission zones. The event will discuss how municipalities can contribute to reducing pollution, effectively implement the provisions of the Law on Alternative Fuels and use low emission zones to create a more favourable living environment.

This event is intended for representatives of municipal administrations who seek not only to properly implement the requirements of low emission zones, but also to exploit their potential for broader urban development goals – promoting sustainable mobility, improving the quality of public spaces and increasing the quality of life of residents.
Registration of representatives of municipal administrations and decision-makers is open until February 23.
