About URBANE

URBANE is an EU-funded project on novel, sustainable, safe, resilient and effective last-mile delivery solutions, combining green automated vehicles and shared space utilisation models. The project will test innovative TRL7/8 efficient, replicable and socially acceptable innovative last-mile delivery solutions.

About the URBANE final event

The Urban Logistics Innovation Day and final event of the URBANE Project will take place on 6 November 2025 at the Área Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB) headquarters. The event is hosted by AMB and co-o.rganised by POLIS, ETP-ALICE, INLECOM, and EIT Urban Mobility. Registrations close on 31 October

Urban logistics today faces growing challenges, from congestion and space constraints to environmental impacts and rising e-commerce demand. As last-mile delivery systems come under increasing pressure to be faster, more efficient, and sustainable, collaboration and innovation are more crucial than ever.

This one-day event is a unique opportunity to:

  • Discover the key findings and results from URBANE’s local pilot actions;
  • Explore innovative logistics solutions ready for replication;
  • Engage with public and private stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners shaping the future of sustainable urban logistics.

Taking place back-to-back with the Smart City Expo/Tomorrow Mobility (4–6 November), this event serves as a dynamic platform to discuss policy, innovation, and investment pathways driving the uptake of sustainable last-mile delivery systems across Europe
