Co-hosted by Innovate UK and EIT Urban Mobility, this one-day event will blend best practice exchange, interactive ideation sessions, and project proposal development to explore sustainable, inclusive, and future-proof mobility solutions that can be implemented in cities, suburban and rural areas — and to strengthen collaboration between the UK and Europe.
About the event
“Connected Futures: UK-EU Collaboration for Mobility Innovations” is designed to spark cross-border collaboration for innovation in the transport and mobility sector:
- Share pioneering case studies and best practices from both the UK and Europe
- Work in facilitated ideation sessions to define potential project ideas for Horizon Europe and EIT Urban Mobility Programmes
- Explore how to bridge innovation gaps, align funding, regulation and stakeholder ecosystems
- Support the early stages of forming project proposals that could address urban mobility challenges such as sustainability, accessibility, decarbonisation, and smart infrastructure

- Public transport – improving accessibility, integration, and user experience
