Event details

As the European Commission’s principal urban mobility policy conference, Urban Mobility Days (UMD) provides the ideal opportunity to network, debate, and exchange on key European urban mobility policy issues with policymakers, local authorities, NGOs, academics, urban transport practitioners, and the industry. This year’s event takes place from 30 September to 2 October in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania and European Green Capital 2025 award winner.

The UMD 2025 conference places urban mobility within the context of the new European Union priorities:

  1. A new plan for Europe’s sustainable prosperity and competitiveness: competitiveness compass and the Clean Industrial Deal
  1. Supporting people, strengthening our societies and our social model: social fairness and tackling inequality

The new EU priorities will be highlighted by the cross-cutting topics of competitiveness, innovation, and tourism throughout the three days of the conference, each dedicated to urban nodes (30 September), cycling (1 October), and public transport (2 October).

EIT Urban Mobility at Urban Mobility Days 2025

From 30 September to 2 October, EIT Urban Mobility will join the European Commission’s flagship Urban Mobility Days in Vilnius. Our CEO, Marc Rozendal, will moderate the Politicians’ Exchange Forum and speak on the role of public procurement in advancing innovative mobility services.

Throughout the event, we will showcase cutting-edge solutions and our portfolio startups in the exhibition area and AGORA sessions, demonstrating how innovation can strengthen Europe’s competitiveness, sustainability, and social fairness in urban mobility.
