Request for proposals: Startup investor networking session

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility (hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”) is seeking to select and contract a qualified external provider (hereinafter being referred to as “Provider”)to design and deliver an in-person startup investor networking session to be held at Norrsken House in Barcelona on Monday, 3rd November 2025. This document, along with its annexes, constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of services in the field of business-specific web development.

As an impact investor, EIT Urban Mobility seeks not only to support and de-risk high-potential equity startups in its portfolio, but also to actively facilitate their access to follow-on funding by connecting them with aligned investors, while progressively curating a trusted pan-European network of co-investors committed to scaling sustainable urban mobility solutions.

The Startup–Investor Networking Session aims to:

  • Facilitate high-quality connections between a curated group of 10 equity startups (provided by EIT Urban Mobility) and relevant early-stage investors (Seed to Series A+) with interest and expertise in mobility, smart cities, sustainability, and/or impact investments.
  • Leverage the provider’s investor network to ensure the in-person participation of a minimum of 10 qualified investors who match the investment profile and geographic relevance of the selected startups.
  • Propose and implement a dynamic, curated format that maximizes the efficiency and quality of startup–investor engagements, with a clear Networking methodology.
  • Pre-Networking: Prepare startups and investors for the Networking session with reasonable timings before session takes place.
  • Post-Networking: Follow-up on connections between startups and investors, monitoring investment interest and supporting EIT UM on nurturing the co-investment relations in sustainable urban innovation across Europe.

The overall Startup – Investor Networking session will require the provider to collaborate closely with EIT Urban Mobility and the selected list of startups.
