Clean, Resilient, and Connected Mobility – Overcoming Challenges Through Collaboration
Monday 19 May | 12:00-12:45 h | Arena Stage
As cities expand and mobility demands evolve, the need for sustainable, resilient, and connected transport solutions has become a priority. The theme “Clean, Resilient, and Connected Mobility explores how public-private collaboration can drive progress in the EU while balancing competitiveness and sustainability.
This arena session will dive into key challenges shaping the future of mobility: regulatory hurdles that slow innovation, the need for diverse design teams to ensure accessibility for all, the evolving business models required to sustain transformation, and the critical role of testing, data, and public procurement. With regulation struggling to keep pace with technological advancements, European stakeholders must accelerate innovation internally to remain competitive. At the same time, inclusivity must be at the core of mobility design to prevent usability flaws that hinder accessibility.
A session where industry leaders and policymakers will discuss how to align stakeholder needs, foster innovation, and create transport systems that are not only sustainable but also adaptable and inclusive.
The Arena format is designed to be dynamic and engaging, encouraging dialogue among speakers and with the audience.
