In Stockholm, the ‘Future Streets’ project enabled the temporary redesign of three streets close to schools to give more space back to people. Interviewed for the EIT Urban Mobility Academy WebTV, Dan Hill – Director of strategic design at Vinnova and Tobias Nordström – CEO and Urban Planner at Spacescape – explain how the project also included the children of the schools at an early stage in the design process.

The ‘Good Move’ project is a sustainable urban mobility plan for ten years to turn Brussels into a nicer place to live for all its citizens. Inspired by the Superblocks of Barcelona, this ambitious project has been led by Elke Van den Brandt, Minister of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, responsible for Mobility, Public works and Road Safety. In this video, she explains to the environment and transport journalist, Sam Morgan, how the Belgian city aims to transform mobility in Brussels.
