Request for Proposals: Digital marketing strategy implementation for the EIT Virtual Campus

EIT Urban Mobility is part of the Strategic Education Cluster, a EIT Community pan European project that represents an unprecedented endeavour in the EIT Education Ecosystem to integrate, systematise and leverage education activities from different KICs, create joint offerings and open new opportunities for raising

EIT’s profile and for market penetration. Among other things, the Cluster hopes to further connect all KICs’ education offer to the current and future needs of the labour market.

In the context of the Strategic Education Cluster, EIT Urban Mobility is working with other EIT KICs to develop the EIT Virtual Campus. The EIT Virtual Campus aims at bringing together the KICs’ education offer available into one single platform. While the EIT Virtual Campus will act as an online shopping window by gathering the hundreds of courses offered by the involved KICs into one single platform, the courses will remain hosted on each individual KIC’s learning platform (which range from market leader platforms such as FutureLearn and Coursera, to the KIC´s own Moodle platforms). This means that the EIT Virtual Campus is expected to increase traffic to the KICs’ education sites and courses by gathering all the education offer of the KICs into an attractive platform with a recognisable brand that can open up new markets to otherwise rather topic specific KICs.

A pilot of the EIT Virtual Campus is expected to be launched in December 2022. To continue the development of the EIT Virtual Campus from pilot to a fully-fledged product, it is crucial that we are able to build a community of learners, professionals and innovators around the EIT Virtual Campus.

To that end, we want to find a vendor who can help us implement the EIT Virtual Campus digital marketing strategy developed in 2022, with a focus on the following:

  1. Gain Brand awareness and motivate target audience to engage with the EIT Virtual Campus – The vendor will help us to raise awareness of the EIT Virtual Campus among previously-identified target audiences, and to implement a strategy to most effectively and efficiently persuade target audience to choose the EIT Virtual Campus over its main competitors.
  2. Traffic conversion and user retention – The vendor will implement solutions to ensure the EIT Virtual Campus’ visibility in the SERPs, including running SEO and CRO audits and investing in PPC and social ads solutions on behalf of EIT Urban Mobility.
  3. Review of EIT Virtual Campus’ courses database  – The vendor will review and continuously analyse the previously created course database, optimising it periodically, and ensuring monitoring on PowerBi.
