The Rapid Application for Transport (RAPTOR) project is an internal EIT Urban Mobility project aimed at addressing niche urban mobility issues provided by cities. Individuals, teams, start-ups, and SMEs submit their solutions to the niche challenges in a competition in which winners are awarded prize money, mentoring, and support. Winners are given 4 months to develop a minimum viable product which is tested in-situ with the involved cities.

Challenge


The cities involved are responsible for defining their own challenges which will be addressed in connection to one or more of the following challenge areas: Active Mobility, Intermodality, Mobility infrastructure, Mobility for all, Pollution reduction, Sustainable city logistics, Creating public realm, Future mobility and Mobility and energy

Main Objective


The RAPTOR project purpose is to rapidly create and test solutions to real world, niche urban mobility challenges; to support innovative individuals, teams, start-ups, and SMEs in advancing their solutions; and to work closely with cities in identifying and addressing their niche urban mobility challenges.

Output


The RAPTOR pilot will enable winning individuals, teams, startups or SMES all to deliver and test a minimum viable product.
