Ville de Paris
The Paris City Hall (Hôtel de Ville de Paris, in French) houses the institutions of the municipal government of Paris. It is located opposite the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville (formerly Place de Grève) in the city’s 4th arrondissement. It has housed the Paris City Hall since 1357. Today it is used for multiple purposes: it houses the city administration, the mayor of Paris has had his office there (since 1977), and it is also used to host large receptions.
