The Project Officer will report the Director of Innovation for day-to-day line management. The Head of Operations in Barcelona will provide strategic direction. The primary focus will be to ensure the adherence to the defined project plan, KPI and activities outlined in the EIT-H2Cities proposal. The position is funded for three years initially with an option of extension.
Main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Execution of the EIT-H2 Cities project plan
- Active monitoring of partners and work packages interdependence within the consortia
- Financial management, monitoring and control of overall project and individual workpackages
- Timely and accurate reports for quartely and annual compliance.
- Managing risk and mitigation strategy
- Issuing and accurately excuting Expressions of Interest for selection of new project partners
- Supporting project partners and SMEs in EIT reporting methods and financial mechanisms
- Collating all documentation for KPI and project deliverables
- Leading internal workshops and chair/host external events
- Coordindating with the EIT H2-Cities Business Development Officer and Communication Officer
- Liaising with EIT Climate KIC and EIT Manufacturing
- Chairing the monthly Operational Committee meetings and the quarterly Steering Committee
