The leading dialog platform for the transport transition.
polisMOBILITY 2025 takes a whole-system approach to the future of mobility and urban life. The conference plays a key role in exchanging ideas about sustainable mobility solutions as a dialog facilitator between businesses and municipalities (B2G) and between companies (B2B). Moreover, this year’s edition will also take place at Cologne’s trade fair grounds from 11 to 12 June 2025.
EIT Urban Mobility is delighted to participate and contribute with a session on the potential of European mobility data.
A trans-frontier perspective: Germany & Benelux
Specifically, this year’s congress will be focusing on fostering a Germany-Benelux dialogue, exploring how innovative solutions from the Benelux region can inspire best practices in German cities.
As stated in the European Union’s digital policies, mobility data is a key driver for:
- Smarter mobility planning
- More fluid traffic flows
- Easier cross-border travel
- More competitive logistics chains
- Reduced environmental impact
However, while collecting data is already a reality, secure and efficient data sharing remains one of the biggest challenges nowadays.
To address this, in the polisMobility 2025 session, “Impact potentials of European mobility data: a closer look on cross-border use cases“, we will bring together a diverse panel of experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities surrounding mobility data sharing.
Robert Lohmann will join us as a panelist. He is the founder of Roadscor, a company specialising in improving road safety by means of data-driven tools. In addition, he will be joined by a city representative and a technology expert to explore solutions for safe, controlled data exchange, enabling cities, businesses and citizens to benefit from data-driven mobility innovation.
Be part of the discussion on how mobility data can accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and smarter mobility.
