Our Business Creation programme aims to become the reference in the market for transforming innovative mobility projects into the most successful business models through the creation of start-ups or the scale-up of existing businesses. We support the lifecycle of start-ups through the phases of acceleration, incubation and scale-up and through our own investment tool, with the ultimate goal of boosting the competitiveness of Europe’s mobility industry.
City Club is a platform for cities for collaboration, sharing best practice, upscaling ideas and putting them to work. Every year the club produces a list of key mobility challenges cities are facing, which can then be tackled by innovation projects and fed into our innovation, education and business creation programmes. Our cities act as test beds for pilots and as living labs. The club also serves as a means of outreach and a sounding board for citizens.
Our Academy is a collaborative arena for lifelong learning, helping to build critical capabilities for innovation and transformation. By providing programmes on master and doctoral level, we will close the urban mobility knowledge gap with challenge-based training using the latest education methodologies across disciplines and sectors. We are training the next generation of urban mobility practitioners that is needed by the urban mobility ecosystem of the future.
